Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ong Bak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gjermus Myrene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bak's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, you've lost that loving feeling. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myrene blocks a head kick by Bak.
Ong Bak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Myrene closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bak to the mat! Bak manages to get full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Bak pushes off an throws an elbow but Myrene leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

It looks like Gjermus Myrene has been cut.

Bak has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Myrene creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Bak lands an elbow that stopped Myrene in his tracks for a moment.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Gjermus Myrene's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
