Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jia Jin Dao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Munny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Dao with that takedown attempt.
Dao shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Munny pinned against the cage. Munny gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Munny moves into range and clinches up with Dao.
Dao misses with the head strike.
Munny stops a takedown attempt from Dao.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jia Jin Dao. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dao blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dao blocks an uppercut.
Munny avoiding damage.
Dao wants to get back to striking at distance but Munny won't allow it.
Munny misses with some punches.

Munny throws a head punch that misses.
Nice body punch from Munny - that landed with a thud.
Munny lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Munny misses with a short punch on the inside.
Dao fails to pull guard.
Munny swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Dao is working for takedown but Munny is calmly controlling the position for now.
Still in the clinch, Munny scores with a nice short uppercut.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Munny.
Munny lands a left hand that snaps the head of Dao backwards.

Dao jumps guard and drags Munny to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Dao is controlling Munny's posture.
Dao not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Munny trying to stand up but can't free himself from Dao's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Munny throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Dao avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Munny throws an elbow that misses. Dao uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Munny's guard. Nice move by Dao!

Munny looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dao is one step ahead there.
Munny is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dao trying to control the position from guard on top but Munny is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Dao gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Dao slips a jab from Munny.
A slow jab from Munny misses its intended target.
Dao shoots and misses
letting Munny counter with a right hand.

It looks like Jia Jin Dao has been cut.
Munny throws a jab when Dao was well out of range.
Munny lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Dao at a distance.
Dao wants to clinch
and Munny cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Dao throws a head kick but Munny moves out of range.
Munny throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dao takes one to the chin there.

Dao fails in his attempt to clinch.
Dao uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Munny.

Munny clinches up with Dao and pushes him back against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Munny.
Munny lands a hook that snaps the head of Dao backwards.
Munny blocks a body shot from Dao.
Munny lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Dao has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Munny is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Dao is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Dao's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dao.
Dao is breathing heavily.
Dao takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Munny looks to score with a jab to the body but Dao is just out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

William Munny dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Jia Jin Dao's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Munny lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Dao tries to move into range but Munny moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Nice takedown defense from Munny. No joy for Dao on that attempt.

Dao clinches with his opponent.
Dao tries for a takedown but Munny manages to get underhooks.
Munny lands a left hand.

Munny pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Munny closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Dao! Munny dives in looking to finish! Dao is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
