Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kaice Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Dapalong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dapalong comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Du Hast by Rammstein kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunn fails with a takedown attempt.
Gunn throws an off balance right hand

It looks like Kaice Gunn has been cut.
Gunn throws a low kick but Dapalong moves out of range easily.
Dapalong looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Gunn lands a jab to the head.
Gunn ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dapalong moves away.
Dapalong throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gunn looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dapalong changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Gunn lands with a slapping head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dapalong throws a hook but Gunn blocks it.

and Dapalong counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Gunn slips a straight right by Dapalong.
Dapalong lands with an uppercut that bounces Gunn off the cage and back into range.
Dapalong swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Vincent Dapalong is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Gunn has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Sydney Fight Team in the buildup to the fight.
Gunn dives in and grabs Dapalong's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dapalong pushes down on Gunn's head and hops out.

Dapalong might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gunn manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Dapalong on his heels. He'll look to pass Dapalong's guard now, I'm sure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gunn fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Oh Gunn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Kaice Gunn's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Gunn throws a sloppy head kick and Dapalong moves out of range easily.

Gunn takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dapalong throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Dapalong drops Gunn with a straight right hand, right on the button! Dapalong follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
