The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bouthat shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Duran sprawls well. Duran wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bouthat gets slowly back to his feet.
Bouthat has taken the fight to the clinch.
Duran tries to land knees in the clinch but Bouthat avoids the damage to the body.
Bouthat is trying to pull guard but Duran has him pressed against the cage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bouthat's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Bouthat has a closed guard, preventing Duran from standing up.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Bouthat wants to sweep here but Duran controlling him for the moment.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Duran goes for a double leg but Bouthat avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bouthat continues to drive forward.

Duran looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bouthat is fending him off so far but Duran persists. Nope, Bouthat circles away and we're back to standing.

Duran throws a big counter combination but Bouthat scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Duran shoots in and bounces Bouthat off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lynn Duran will probably get the nod.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Duran holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Bouthat tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Bouthat takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Duran tries to control Bouthat's body but Bouthat pushes him off. Duran squirms to his side and now Bouthat has his back!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bouthat punches the canvas rather than the man.
Duran staying busy and making it hard for Bouthat to control.
Duran is trying to get back to his feet but Bouthat has full control of the position and if anything, Duran has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Duran is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Duran wants to control his opponent's hands but Bouthat gets his hands free.
And that's the end of the fight!
Frederic Bouthat comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Bouthat has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
