The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rush shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Skantze Jr feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Rushs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Rush just misses with a punch to the body.

My spies in Montreal Elite Gym inform me that Rush has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rush connects with a nice short shot to Skantze Jr's temple.
