The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Preuss takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

It looks like Caio Preuss has been cut.
Preuss falls off balance throwing a combination
and Fields counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Caio Preuss seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Preuss throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Good leg kick by Fields there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Preuss ducks right into an uppercut from Fields.
Preuss on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

and Fields counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Oh Preuss is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fields jerks Preuss's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Preuss drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Fields goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Fields because Preuss was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Layne Fields!
Layne Fields really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Knockout Nutrition (150Q $25) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
