The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordon stuffs the takedown attempt from Brown. Brown gets slowly back to his feet.
Gordon seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Gordon throws an ugly left hook that misses

so Brown counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Brown tries to stand but Gordon is controlling from the bottom.
Gordon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Brown works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gordon wants to improve his position but Brown is controlling well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gordon is trying to stand up here but Brown is controlling him well.
