Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sher Shah Suri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 17 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sher Shah Suri!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roberto Kim!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suri throws a big shot that misses.
Kim throws a poor cross that misses
and Suri counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Suri connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kim. Kim circles away out of range and recomposes himself.


It looks like Roberto Kim has been cut.
Kim throws a half hearted mid kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Suri. Kim does a little dance to reset his feet.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kim has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Suri throws a big shot that misses.
Kim feints the counter takedown.
Suri walks into a straight right hand from Kim.
Suri fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kim manages to avoid it.
Suri throws a poor cross that misses

and Kim counters with a single leg into guard. Suri didn't expect that.
Suri has his hands on Kim's head, controlling the position.
Suri trying to keep a closed guard but Kim is proving a slippery customer.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Suri has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Kim trying to control but Suri is working from the bottom.
Suri avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Kim chips away with some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kim wants to pass the guard but Suri is keeping the position.
Suri has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kim wants to control from the top but Suri keeps moving.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Suri throws a big shot that misses.
Kim slips under a jab.
Suri tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kim manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kim shoots for a double leg takedown but Suri sprawls well. He's pushed Kim's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kim.
Kim is trying hard to land a takedown here. Suri sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Sher Shah Suri has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roberto Kim.
Kim jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Suri throws a hook but Kim blocks it.
Suri moves away from the strike by Kim.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Suri swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Kim lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Suri is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kim.
Kim turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Kim throws a low kick but Suri moves out of range easily.
Kim slips under a jab from Suri.
Kim changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Suri takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Suri scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kim doesn't seem bothered though.
Suri connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kim momentarily.
Suri jabs Kim right on the nose. Kim blinks but takes it well.
Suri connects with a looping right hand.
Suri misses with a hook

and Kim counters with a nice double leg into side control. Suri won't be happy with that.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
An elbow from Kim crashes against the mat.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Kim looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Suri is trying to improve his position.

Kim is trying to get an arm triangle but Suri is defending well.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kim is staying tight to Suri's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Suri is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Kim trying to control the action but Suri is working from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Roberto Kim will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Roberto Kim's cut.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Suri tests Kim's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Kim shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Suri scores with the left hand. Kim knows he should have avoided that one.
Suri misses with an uppercut. Kim saw that one coming.
Suri connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kim. Kim circles away out of range and recomposes himself.


Kim is rocked!
Kim ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kim is still on wobbly legs! Can Suri finish him?
Suri throws a looping overhand right but Kim ducks down to avoid it.
And Kim tries to counter it with a takedown but Suri pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Kim uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Suri.
Suri tries to close the distance and clinch but Kim swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kim with the counter takedown but Suri avoids it easily.
Suri avoids a kick to the body.

Suri rushes Kim and presses him up against the cage.
Kim seems to have recovered his senses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kim blocks an uppercut.
Kim throws a head punch that misses.
Suri lands with a right to the head.
Suri lands a big right hand that drops Kim! The killer instinct kicks in and Suri finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Suri!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sher Shah Suri!
After the fight, Sher Shah Suri was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
Roberto Kim spoke after the fight, saying 'HOOOODOOR!'.
