The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anoy darts in and clinches Ferguson up against the cage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Anoy frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Anoy wants to finish this one by submission but Ferguson is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Anoy.

Anoy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ferguson keeps working.

and Anoy counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Anoy postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Anoy wants to control from the top but Ferguson keeps moving.

Anoy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ferguson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ferguson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Anoy counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ferguson won't be happy with that.

Anoy looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Anoy is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Ferguson won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Anoy off his unconscious opponent!
