Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Conrad Booth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leonardo Bispo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Leonardo Bispo!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Alexandre Firmino and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Booth looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Bispo!
Bispo is trying to get back to half guard.
The strikes coming from Booth are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Bispo manages to work his way to half guard, despite Booth's best efforts.
Bispo is looking for a sweep. Booth is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Bispo is still trying to improve position.
Booth seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Booth throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Bispo to regain full guard.

Bispo seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Booth is trying to maintain the position but Bispo is very close to passing his half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Bispo scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Bispo throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Bispo has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Bispo just content to control the position.
Bispo advances to mount.
Bispo is breathing heavily.
Booth tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Booth regains half guard.

Booth tries to roll over but Bispo keeps him under control.
Bispo is keen to just control but Booth is a slippery customer.

Bispo works to advance to full mount. Booth defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Booth keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Bispo is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Booth is surviving well by controlling Bispo's body position as best he can.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Bispo throws a right hand that Booth ducks under and follows up with a left that Booth also avoids with ease.
Booth is looking to counter punch.
Leonardo Bispo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Booth tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bispo swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Bispo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Bispo wants to pass to mount but Booth is defending the position.
Bispo is trying to control. Booth wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Bispo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Booth with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Well Bispo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
