Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Declan Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Brown Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown Jr is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bill Withers - Ain't No Sunshine. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Daniel Cesar and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown Jr tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Brown Jr fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
A head kick misses from Morris.
Brown Jr unleashes a big counter combination but Morris bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Morris fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Brown Jr, pushing him back against the cage.

Morris seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

Morris might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

The fight stays on the outside here - Brown Jr looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Brown Jr shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Morris pinned against the cage. Morris gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Brown Jr changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Morris tries to avoid it but Brown Jr manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Morris to the ground. Morris escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Brown Jr shoots in looking for a takedown but Morris manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Brown Jr's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Morris enables Brown Jr to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Morris manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Brown Jr drops back, looking for a kneebar! Morris looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Morris looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Morris!

Jason Brown Jr showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Brown Jr is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Morris has hold of one of Brown Jr's legs. Brown Jr is fighting the takedown attempt but Morris gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
