The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pow tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Pow tries to clinch up but Davis circles away and keeps his distance.
Pow just misses with a punch to the body.

We've been hearing reports that Davis has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Pow cracks the inside of Davis's front leg.
Pow walks into a stiff left hand from Davis.
Pow ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Davis moves away.
Davis throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Pow's head.
Pow throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Davis paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Davis avoids a punch combination nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Davis has Pow up against the cage in a clinch.

Davis feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Pows jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

After the fight, Corey Davis was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
