And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Alexandre Firmino and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James fails in his attempt to clinch.
James tries to clinch there but Thomson circles away.

and Thomson counters with a stiff right hand.
James darts in trying to clinch
and Thomson counters with a nice double leg into side control. James won't be happy with that.
James looks to move to half guard but instead Thomson has passed into mount! Damn!
Thomson stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Thomson throws a perfectly timed hook that sends James crashing down! James tries to stagger back to his feet but Thomson just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused James asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tyresse Thomson!
