Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Elbert Walls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jojack Jackerton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Elbert Walls!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jojack Jackerton!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackerton shoots in and gets a takedown into Walls's guard.
Walls utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Jackerton in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Walls might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Jackerton seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jackerton lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jackerton wanted to stand there but Walls had control of the position.

Jackerton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Walls swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
No luck for Walls with that takedown attempt.
Jackerton wants to counter with a clinch but Walls pushes him away.

Jackerton shoots in and bounces Walls off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Jackerton is stalling in the full guard.

Walls can't keep his opponent in guard - Jackerton advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Walls has hold of Jackerton's hands but Jackerton slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Jackerton looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Walls with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Jackerton is nestled in close to Walls, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Walls tries to roll over but Jackerton keeps him under control.
Jackerton is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Walls wants to control but Jackerton is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Jackerton moves nicely into side control.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Walls shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jackerton as he jumps to the side.
Walls fails with a takedown attempt.

Jackerton shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Jackerton controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Walls manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jackerton manages to get himself to full guard.

Jojack Jackerton has got the better of the ground game so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jackerton has his foot on Walls's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Walls works his way back into a safe position though.
Walls tries to stand but Jackerton is controlling from the bottom.

Jackerton is looking for a triangle but Walls pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jackerton is controlling Walls's posture.
Walls distracts Jackerton with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Jackerton has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Walls wants to get up but he can't break Jackerton's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Jackerton wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jackerton is on top in guard.

Jackerton tries to stand but Walls is controlling from the bottom.
Walls can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jackerton controls the pace.

Jackerton is stalling in the full guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Jackerton shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Jackerton passes Walls's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Jackerton works his way into full mount!
Jackerton controlling his opponent.

Jackerton pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Walls is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jojack Jackerton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!



Jackerton clinches up with Walls and pushes him back against the cage.
Walls has had enough of the clinch but Jackerton keeps him there for the moment.
Walls is trying to force a seperation but Jackerton has the dominant position.
Walls tries to break the clinch but Jackerton is controlling the position.

Walls has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Walls wanted to stand there but Jackerton had control of the position.

Jackerton is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Walls is aware though and is defending well.
Walls wants to get up but he can't break Jackerton's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Jackerton takes the fight into the clinch.
Walls wants to get back to striking at distance but Jackerton won't allow it.

Jackerton breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Walls shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jackerton as he avoids it easily.

Walls gets caught flat footed, as Jackerton shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Jackerton prevents Walls from improving his position.

Jackerton looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Jackerton closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jackerton lands in his opponent's guard.

And that's the end of the fight!

Well Jackerton has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
