The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz looks for a takedown but Ferguson sprawls well.
Cruz could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Cruz closes the distance and clinches up with Ferguson, looking for a takedown. Cruz pushes Ferguson against the cage but Ferguson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
