Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Masaru Shimabukuro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Pegeant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shimabukuro comes to the cage accompanied by Warrior. The key to victory for Masaru Shimabukuro has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shimabukuro swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Pegeant.
Shimabukuro moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Pegeant looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Pegeant closes this distance looking for a takedown but Shimabukuro circles away.
Shimabukuro uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pegeant.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Shimabukuro is squirming around, avoiding Pegeant's attempts to control the action.

Shimabukuro fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pegeant manages to avoid it.

Pegeant shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Shimabukuro's guard.
