Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Filip Wieclaw!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Atkins and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Grabowski shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wieclaw is trying to defend but Grabowski finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Grabowski tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Grabowski not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Grabowski trying to control the action but Wieclaw is working from the bottom.
Wieclaw really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Grabowski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Grabowski is working for a submission of some sort.

Grabowski is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Wieclaw doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Grabowski.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wieclaw is looking for a sweep. Grabowski is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Grabowski definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Grabowski is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Wieclaw tries to get to full guard but Grabowski has control of the leg.
Wieclaw controlling the position for now.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Wieclaw is refusing to be controlled, as Grabowski sits in half guard.

Wieclaw is defending against the submission attempts here by Grabowski.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Grabowski frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Grabowski trying to control but Wieclaw is having none of it.
Wieclaw keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Wieclaw tries to hold on but Grabowski postures up.

Grabowski working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Wieclaw looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Grabowski! Submission of the night perhaps?
