Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Cartman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Razor Joaquin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cartman comes into the arena with Poisonblack - Home Is Where The Sty Is blaring out of the sound system. Joaquin has chosen Bola estica-CTS & Meritocrata as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Eric Cartman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Razor Joaquin!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Luis Engracia and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Joaquin tries to avoid it but Cartman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Joaquin to the ground. Joaquin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Joaquin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Cartman tries to buck Joaquin off but Joaquin is having none of it.

Joaquin looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cartman tries to bench press Joaquin off him but Joaquin keeps the position.

Cartman wants to control but Joaquin postures up.
Cartman manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Cartman misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Joaquin feints the counter takedown.
Cartman looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Joaquin tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Joaquin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Joaquin in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Joaquin tries for a kimura but Cartman is defending well.
Cartman is looking to get back to his feet here but Joaquin is keeping cool and he's managed to take Cartman's back.

Cartman is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Cartman won't enjoy being in this position. Joaquin looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Cartman is tapping - it's over boys! Joaquin picks up the submission victory!

A less than humble Razor Joaquin misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
