Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes moves forwards but Brandon connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Hughes throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Brandon's head.
Brandon misses with a looping left.
No luck for Brandon with that takedown attempt.
Hughes darts in looking for a takedown but Brandon gets double underhooks and turns Hughes into the cage.
Hughes keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hughes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brandon moves away.
Brandon changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Brandon lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Brandon cracks Hughes with a right hand to the side of the head.
Hughes looks to land a body kick but Brandon moved away.
Brandon is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hughes sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Ezekiel Hughes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Junior Brandon.
Hughes scores with a decent looking hook.

Hughes tries to close the distance and clinch up but Brandon swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Brandon bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Sloppy strikes there by Brandon.

Brandon wants to control but Hughes is keeping him busy.
Hughes is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Death Valley Training Facility, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Brandon is trying to get an arm triangle but Hughes is defending well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Brandon is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Hughes is trying to escape and Brandon transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Hughes is forced to tap! Nice work there by Brandon! Very nice indeed!
