Valdez shoots in and bounces Liberio off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
Valdez pushes down on Liberio's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Valdez tries to move into full mount but can't pass Liberio's legs.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Liberio can do anything to dispel that myth.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Liberio is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Valdez has taken his back.

Valdez is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Liberio with him. Liberio is trying to defend but Valdez has an arm under the chin now! Liberio grimaces and is forced to tap out!
