Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Optimus Prime (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nahka Vitonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Prime comes to the cage accompanied by Rich Boy - Boy Looka Here . Vitonen has chosen Klamydia - Junttihinttirunkkari as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Optimus Prime!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 36 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nahka Vitonen!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prime fails with a takedown attempt.
Vitonen slaps away a takedown attempt from Prime, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Vitonen misses with a low kick as Prime jumps back.
Prime changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Optimus Prime seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vitonen lands a nice looking body shot.
Vitonen throws a low kick but it's checked well by Prime.
Vitonen dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Vitonen connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Good leg kick by Vitonen there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Prime with a lazy takedown attempt
and Vitonen counters with a nice uppercut.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Optimus Prime. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vitonen looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Prime on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Vitonen throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Vitonen lands a right hook to the body.

Vitonen leaves Prime with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Prime has his takedown stuffed
and Vitonen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Prime is breathing heavily.
Vitonen feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Prime's calf.
Prime shoots in but no luck this time.
Vitonen throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Prime fails with the takedown.
Vitonen stuffs the takedown attempt from Prime. Prime gets slowly back to his feet.
Nahka Vitonen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Prime on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Vitonen misses with a wild combination.
Prime on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Vitonen loads up on a big right hand but Prime slips the punch.

Prime drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Prime being controlled here momentarily.
Let's hope that Vitonen has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Prime tries to free his leg and advance position but Vitonen is retaining full guard.

Vitonen has control of Prime's left arm, preventing Prime from doing any damage.
Prime trying to control but Vitonen is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vitonen tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Vitonen avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Vitonen buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Prime fails with the takedown.
Vitonen dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Prime moves out of range of the body kick.
Prime fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Vitonen doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Vitonen displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Prime.
Prime will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Vitonen catches Prime with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Vitonen throws a leg kick but Prime checks it.
Vitonen slaps away a takedown attempt from Prime, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Prime gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Vitonen.
An inside leg kick lands from Vitonen.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Prime fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Prime.
Vitonen throws a jab but it's blocked by Prime.

Prime is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Vitonen's half guard.
Vitonen is positioning himself well to prevent Prime advancing to mount.

Prime wants to work for an arm triangle but Vitonen is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vitonen holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Prime looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Prime works his way into side control.
Vitonen is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Prime off and has taken his back!
Vitonen lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Vitonen has the hooks in. Prime is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Prime trying to control the hands but Vitonen won't let him.
Prime can't escape the position.

Vitonen has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Vitonen lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Prime tries to escape but Vitonen has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Vitonen's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Prime trying to get back to his feet but Vitonen is in full control for now.
Vitonen softening up his opponent with strikes here.

Vitonen lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.
Prime rolls, trying to escape but Vitonen keeps control of the position.
Vitonen really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Prime.
Vitonen is continuing to stall.
Vitonen struggling to keep hold of the position.
Vitonen controlling well, preventing Prime from escaping the position.
Vitonen throwing sloppy strikes.

You can see the frustration on Prime's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Vitonen is looking to control Prime but Prime is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Prime tries to escape the position.
What can Prime do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Prime is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Vitonen biding his time, looking for the opening.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
More stalling from Vitonen.
Prime is trying to break free.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nahka Vitonen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Prime has his takedown stuffed
and Vitonen counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Optimus Prime is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Vitonen digs a good body shot into Prime's ribs.
Vitonen stuffs the takedown.
Vitonen with a nice cross.
Prime slips under a jab from Vitonen.
Vitonen lands a head kick!
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Vitonen. Prime shrugs it off though.
Vitonen throws a nice outside leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Prime takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Prime crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Vitonen - the referee stops the clock and Prime gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Vitonen. Prime manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
A slapping leg kick lands for Vitonen.
Prime's legs have taken a beating and he's really slowing down as a result.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The crowd cheers as Vitonen lands an impressive looking overhand right. Prime doesn't seem phased though.

Vitonen connects with an inside leg kick.
Vitonen motions for Prime to come forward. Vitonen throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Prime shoots in looking for a takedown but Vitonen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Prime's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Prime chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Vitonen can pounce on him.
Vitonen ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Vitonen throws a leg kick but Prime sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Vitonen connects with a body shot that sends Prime's belly button to the back.
Vitonen scoring well with a low kick there.
Vitonen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Prime was well out of range. Poor timing from Vitonen.
A slapping leg kick lands for Vitonen.
Vitonen cracks Prime with a good jab.
Prime swings for the body but Vitonen moves out of range.
Vitonen throws a nice inside leg kick.

Nice takedown defense from Vitonen. No joy for Prime on that attempt.
Vitonen lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Prime ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Vitonen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Vitonen connects with a body shot that sends Prime's belly button to the back.
Prime takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Vitonen, as that shot connected.
Vitonen missing with a left hand there. Prime was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Vitonen is looking to slow Prime down with leg kicks.
Prime will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Prime drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Vitonen bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.


Prime is rocked!
Vitonen leaves Prime with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Vitonen flicks out a counter leg kick but Prime steps away.
Oh Prime is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Vitonen drops Prime with a big left hand! Prime is injured, injured bad! Vitonen jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nahka Vitonen!
A relieved looking Nahka Vitonen thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
