Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leiro Nayr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Baba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nayr comes to the cage accompanied by Thunderstruck - AC/DC. Baba has chosen Heart of Courage as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. George Baba is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Leiro Nayr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Baba!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baba takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Nayr lands with a nice body punch.
Nayr wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Nayr is looking to clinch but Baba is avoiding it.

Nayr closes the distance and clinches.
Baba is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Nayr is keeping busy.

Baba escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Baba takes one to the chin there.

It looks like George Baba has been cut.
Nayr scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Nayr throws a body punch but Baba moves out of range.
Baba keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Baba tries to land a leg kick but Nayr saw it coming and moves away.

Nayr moves into the clinch.

Nayr lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Nayr tries a body shot but Baba blocks it.

Nayr scores with a nice hook to the head.

Nayr breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Nayr fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Baba, pushing him back against the cage.

We've been told by Nayr's head coaches at KY GYM that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Nayr tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Baba manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Horrible takedown attempt by Baba or perhaps it was just good defense by Nayr, which made it look bad.

Baba gets tackled into the cage by Nayr. Nayr maintains the clinch.

Nayr breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nayr closes the distance but Baba moves to the side
and Baba cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A low kick from Baba misses
and Nayr counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nayr connects with a good right hand that stumbles Baba. Baba circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Nayr gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Baba pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Baba takes one to the side of the head.
Nayr misses with a combination
and Baba counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Nayr clinches.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Nayr creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Nayr blocking some punches.

Nayr breaks from the clinch.
Baba takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
A shot to the body from Baba misses
and Nayr cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Baba is rocked!
Baba gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Nayr gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Post fight, an emotional Leiro Nayr said 'I have one single goal each time I fight. To destroy or be destroyed. I have no fear. I make no excuses. I can be defeated but my spirit is unconquerable. So line 'em up I don't care. I just want to hurt someone.'.
