Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Valeri Chadov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karasova displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Fuerte shoots in but no luck this time.
Fuerte avoids the head kick by Karasova.
Fuerte tries to counter with a takedown but Karasova is quick to defend against it.
Karasova goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Karasova looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Fuerte jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Karasova shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Fuerte counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fuerte wants to pass the guard but Karasova is defending well.
Fuerte is taking a breather. Karasova says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Fuerte seems to be looking for submissions.
Karasova wants to improve his position but Fuerte is controlling well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fuerte is controlling the pace.
Fuerte missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Fuerte performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Fuerte wants to lay and pray for a moment but Karasova keeps working.
Fuerte is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Karasova is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Karasova can do anything to dispel that myth.

Karasova is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Karasova keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Fuerte lands a couple of good shots and Karasova has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Fuerte not allowing Karasova to control his hands.

Karasova is trying to stand back up.
Oooh a big shot gets through from Fuerte. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Fuerte trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Fuerte is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Karasova is defending well though. Fuerte let's go of the attempt for now.
Karasova won't enjoy being in this position. Fuerte looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Karasova is tapping - it's over boys! Fuerte picks up the submission victory!
