Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Olen Mckinney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Rossi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan Rossi will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Olen Mckinney!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Rossi!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mckinney wants to clinch.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Rossi gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rossi controlling the position.
Rossi wants to sweep but no luck.
Rossi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Mckinney really is a fat lump.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mckinney is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Rossi scores with a couple of nice shots.
Rossi is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Rossi is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mckinney is just riding it out for now. Rossi eventually gives up the hold.
Rossi throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Mckinney keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Rossi wants to take a breather but Mckinney is having none of it.
Rossi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Rossi is looking to advance position but Mckinney won't allow it.

Mckinney is defending against the submission attempts here by Rossi.

Rossi is looking for a kimura but Mckinney is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rossi to get the leverage.

Rossi looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Mckinney wants to control but Rossi is keeping busy and won't allow it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mckinney wants to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rossi is trying to work for a kimura but Mckinney is defending well.
Mckinney gets full guard.
Rossi slips nicely into half guard.

Rossi seems to be looking for submissions.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Rossi is looking for a kimura here.
Mckinney is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Rossi wants to free his trapped foot but Mckinney is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Rossi misses with a head shot. Mckinney uses the momentum to regain guard.
Mckinney knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rossi on the ground.
Rossi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mckinney is keeping the position for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ryan Rossi dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Rossi wants to land a leg kick but Mckinney is out of range.

Rossi closes the distance and clinches.
Rossi wants a takedown.

Rossi tightens his grip and picks Mckinney up, before dumping him to the ground. Mckinney manages to land in guard.
Rossi looking to sit in guard and control but Mckinney gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Rossi pulls Mckinney in close to prevent any damage.
Mckinney might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rossi is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Rossi has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Mckinney should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Rossi has tightened it up now! Mckinney should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Ryan Rossi!
During a confident post fight interview, Ryan Rossi thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
