Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rostam Samani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Brown's choice of entrance music: Needle In The Hay. Anthony Brown has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Samani misses.
Brown throws a hook but Samani blocks it.
Brown has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Samani.

Brown tries for a takedown but Samani sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A chopping leg kick lands by Samani.
Brown throws a looping overhand right but Samani ducks down to avoid it.
Samani lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Brown at a distance.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Samani tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Samani has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Good leg kick by Samani there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Horrible takedown attempt by Brown or perhaps it was just good defense by Samani, which made it look bad.

Brown felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Samani wants to lay and pray for a moment but Brown keeps working.

Samani seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Brown does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
