Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Manoel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thor Omega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manoel comes to the cage accompanied by Fantaisie-Impromptu. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Omega looks to throw the jab but Manoel is out of range.
Manoel throws a body punch but Omega moves out of range.
Manoel checks a leg kick nicely.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Omega, as that shot connected.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Omega.
Omega has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Manoel is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Omega with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Manoel to score with a decent uppercut.
Manoel misses with a hook.
Omega avoids the head kick by Manoel.
Omega throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Manoel connects with a solid leg kick.
Omega lands a nice leg kick that just misses Manoel's sensitive parts.
A low kick from Omega is predictable there

Omega's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Omega is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Manoel rather than just go for the knockout.

Manoel fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Omega, pushing him back against the cage.

Omega is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

A nice inside leg kick there by Omega. That's going to slow Manoel down.

Manoel is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Manoel displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Omega throws out the jab.

Manoel takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Manoel takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Omega.
A little feinted left hand from Manoel on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Omega scores with a hook to the body. Manoel takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Omega lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Manoel at a distance.
Omega throws a leg kick but Manoel sees it coming and moves out of range.
Omega scores with the left hand. Manoel knows he should have avoided that one.
Manoel finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Omega's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Manoel falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Thor Omega! Thor Omega retains his light heavyweight title!
