Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Philip Costello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gomer Pyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Costello's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, LOOKING FOR TRUBLE. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gomer Pyle!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Costello throws a sloppy head kick and Pyle moves out of range easily.
Pyle shoots in for a takedown but Costello shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Costello is looking for a counter combo.
Pyle tries to clinch but Costello is having none of it.
Costello half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Costello blocks a head kick by Pyle.
Pyle tries to close the distance and clinch up but Costello swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Costello keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Pyle is looking to land body kicks.
Pyle just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromCostello.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pyle shoots in for a takedown but Costello shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Costello seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Pyle for as long as he can get away with.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Pyle is wriggling around trying to escape.
