Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Biggie Shackleton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazuteru Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shackleton manages to avoid it.
Shackleton is looking for a counter combo.
Shackleton tried to score with a low kick but Machida checks it.
Machida is trying hard to land a takedown here. Shackleton sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Machida drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Shackleton sneaks out the side door and pushes Machida away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Machida has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Shackleton is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Machida closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Machida has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Shackleton is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Machida yanks on the arm and Shackleton is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Machida.
