Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Japheth Vasya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lewis Heady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Japheth Vasya looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasya shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Heady but Heady pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Heady gets a clinch.

Heady gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Vasya looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Vasya is breathing heavily.
Vasya tries to roll over but Heady keeps him under control.

Vasya tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Heady swivels and escapes.

Vasya working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Heady doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Heady manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Vasya looking to hit a scissor sweep but Heady is one step ahead there.
Vasya really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Vasya manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Heady manages to get himself to full guard.

Heady really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vasya . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Vasya has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Heady can do anything to dispel that myth.
