Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Takem Downem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoncy Lowvinceski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Downem fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Lowvinceski to the ground. Downem is now in Lowvinceski's guard.
Lowvinceski looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Downem stays in close to Lowvinceski's body and controls the position.

Downem gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Downem avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Downem throws out a leg kick but Lowvinceski moves out of range and Downem only half commits.

Downem has taken the fight to the clinch.
Downem digs a right hand into Lowvinceski's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Lowvinceski's gas tank.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Downem.
Downem stalling.
A right hand to the body from Downem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Downem's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Downem feints and as Lowvinceski raises his hands in defense, Downem changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Downem forces his way into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Downem looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lowvinceski with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Downem decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Downem throws the left hand but Lowvinceski avoids the punch easily.

Downem forces Lowvinceski back against the cage and clinches.
Downem lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Downem tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Downem throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Lowvinceskis head.

Lowvinceski is rocked!

Downem gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Lowvinceski is still in real trouble! Can Downem finish him?
Downem takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Downem passes the guard and advances to mount!
Downem looking to control and managing it successfully.
Lowvinceski seems to have recovered his senses.
Lowvinceski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Downem. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lowvinceski is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Downem has taken his back.

Lowvinceski is trying to defend against the choke here but Downem has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Downem Tightens the hold and Lowvinceski taps out furiously! Downem displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
