Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Dipper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tonny Karpecny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Big Dipper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tonny Karpecny!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karpecny circles away from the clinch attempt

and Karpecny counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dipper is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Karpecny trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Karpecny wants to control from the top but Dipper keeps moving.
Karpecny wants to pass the guard but Dipper is keeping the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Karpecny with a flurry of punches that miss.
Karpecny trying to control but Dipper is working from the bottom.
Karpecny slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Dipper looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Dipper is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Karpecny.


It looks like Big Dipper has been cut.

Karpecny shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Dipper is looking to control Karpecny's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dipper avoid being mounted?
Karpecny really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dipper. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Dipper strikes from the bottom but Karpecny passes into mount!
Karpecny wants to stand but Dipper is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Karpecny controlling the pace for now.
Dipper can't escape the position.
Karpecny controlling his opponent.
Karpecny can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dipper is looking to escape.

Karpecny lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Dipper hang on?
Dipper tries to lock up and control but Karpecny gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Dipper is trying to stand.
Dipper is trying desperately to improve position.
Dipper wants to control but Karpecny is having none of it.

Karpecny wants to control the pace but Dipper is squirming around nicely.
Dipper tries to hold on but Karpecny pushes him away.
Karpecny controlling his opponent.
Karpecny tries to control but Dipper wriggling away.
Dipper has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Karpecny's lack of action.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tonny Karpecny dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Big Dipper's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Dipper shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Karpecny as he avoids it easily.
Karpecny is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Karpecny displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dipper.
Dipper fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Big Dipper. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dipper shoots in for a takedown but Karpecny shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Karpecny postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Dipper is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Karpecny, into his guard.

Dipper wanted to stand there but Karpecny had control of the position.
Karpecny is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Dipper wants to control from the top but Karpecny keeps moving.
Dipper won't allow Karpecny to sweep him here.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dipper accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Karpecny is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Karpecny is looking to sweep but instead, Dipper has passed into half guard.

Karpecny is looking for a sweep. Dipper is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Karpecny looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Karpecny stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dipper swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Karpecny controls from within his opponent's guard.
Dipper wants to sweep but no luck.

Karpecny trying to control but Dipper is working from the bottom.
Dipper managing to control the position.

Tonny Karpecny showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Dipper tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Dipper shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Karpecny but Karpecny pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Karpecny takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Karpecny passes into side control, despite Dipper's attempt to control the position.
Dipper tries to improve position but can't.
Karpecny working the ground and pound.
Check out the look on Karpecny's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Dipper is looking for a sweep.
Karpecny has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Karpecny wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dipper keeps working.
You can see the frustration on Dipper's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Dipper tries to improve position but can't.
Tonny Karpecny has got the better of the ground game so far.
Dipper wants to get back to his feet but Karpecny drags him back down.
Karpecny controls the position.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Dipper tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Karpecny wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Karpecny fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dipper avoids it really well and circles away.

Karpecny shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Karpecny showed some decent athleticism there.
Dipper is trying to get back to full guard.
Karpecny not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Karpecny wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dipper keeps working.

Karpecny not doing much here.
Dipper wants to get back to his feet.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Karpecny wants to control but Dipper is keeping him busy.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Dipper looks to land a body kick but Karpecny moved away.
Dipper closes this distance looking for a takedown but Karpecny circles away.
Big Dipper has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Tonny Karpecny is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Karpecny closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Dipper's guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tonny Karpecny comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Karpecny has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
