Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Crackman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergei Demidov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Demidov's choice of entrance music: Mother Russia. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tom Crackman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergei Demidov!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Sergei Dronov and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Demidov clinches with his opponent.
Demidov makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Demidov wants the takedown. Crackman is fighting it off but Demidov persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Crackman's guard against the cage.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Crackman is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Crackman is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Demidov has managed to free his arm - good work.
Demidov wants to get back to full guard.
Crackman is pressing down on Demidov's thigh, looking to free his foot. Demidov is holding on for now.
Demidov tries to roll over but Crackman keeps him under control.
Crackman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Crackman is looking to take a break and control but Demidov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Crackman works his way into side control.
Crackman cracks Demidov with a big elbow.
Demidov struggling a bit here.
Demidov prevents Crackman from improving position.
Demidov is trying to improve his position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Crackman trying to control the action but Demidov is working from the bottom.
Demidov is looking for a sweep.
Crackman wants to control but Demidov is keeping him busy.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Demidov can do anything to dispel that myth.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Demidov takes one on the button.

Demidov clinches up with Crackman and pushes him back against the cage.
Demidov lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Demidov is trying to trip Crackman. He has hold of a leg but Crackman is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Demidov persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Demidov is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Demidov wants to pass the guard but Crackman is keeping the position.
Demidov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Crackman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Crackman controls Demidov momentarily but Demidov frees himself.
Demidov must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Demidov makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Demidov thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Demidov looks gassed!
Crackman tries to land a sweep but no joy.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Demidov wants to control from the top but Crackman keeps moving.

Demidov is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Crackman fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Crackman wants to clinch up but Demidov keeps it at a distance.
Crackman closes the distance looking to clinch

and Demidov counters with a takedown into side control.
Crackman sneaks back into half guard.
Crackman is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Demidov's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Demidov's back!

Demidov tries to break free.
Demidov is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Crackman off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
Demidov prevents Crackman from getting a body triangle.

Crackman working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Demidov is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Crackman has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Demidov taps out!
