Prost comes to the cage accompanied by promis a la victoire. Abdallah has chosen California Love as his entrance music. raymond Prost has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ahmad Abdallah!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abdallah tries to clinch up.
Prost throws a sloppy head kick and Abdallah moves out of range easily.
Prost fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Abdallah manages to avoid it.
Prost throws a series of punches but Abdallah moves out of range.
Prost wants to clinch
and Abdallah counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Prost's guard now.
Prost working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Abdallah.
Abdallah stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Prost swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Prost is trying to control the position but Abdallah postures up.
Abdallah throws a big right hand that misses.

Abdallah has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Abdallah postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Prost is trying to control the position but Abdallah postures up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Abdallah darts in and clinches Prost up against the cage.
Prost drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Abdallah gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Prost manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Prost controls Abdallah momentarily but Abdallah frees himself.
Abdallah wants to control from the top but Prost keeps moving.
Abdallah controls from within his opponent's guard.
Abdallah postures up and lands a big shot to Prost's brow.
Abdallah is stalling in the full guard.

Abdallah postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Prost is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Abdallah, into his guard.
Prost wants to control from the top but Abdallah keeps moving.
Abdallah pulls Prost in to control the position.
Prost avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Prost trying to control the position from guard on top but Abdallah is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Abdallah has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Prost doesn't defend quickly enough and Abdallah has managed to lock this one up! Can Prost escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Abdallah on a fantastic submission victory.
