The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Boy. Those never looked like landing.
Walls dives in and grabs Boy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Boy pushes down on Walls's head and hops out.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Walls with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Boy to score with a decent uppercut.
Boy has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Walls looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Boy is fending him off so far but Walls persists. Nope, Boy circles away and we're back to standing.
It seemed like Boy was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Boy in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

The ref is looking closely - Walls is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Walls is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
