Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kid Buu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Snoop Lion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lion is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Let The Bodies Hit The Floor. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lion takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Buu throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lion feints the counter takedown.
Lion fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
An attempted straight right counter from Buu misses the target.
Buu lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Lion backs up against the cage.
Buu smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Lion takes one to the chin there.

Lion drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Buu, as that shot connected.
Buu works the jab nicely.
Buu has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Lion moves in looking to clinch but Buu pushes him off.
Buu misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Buu ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lion moves away.
Kid Buu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lion stuns Buu with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Buu swings for the body but Lion moves out of range.
Lion tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Buu displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lion throws out the jab.
Buu lands a nice hook to Lion's body. Lion takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

And Lion tries to counter it with a takedown but Buu pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Lion tries to close the distance and clinch up but Buu swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Buu thuds his right hand into Lion's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Buu thows a left - swing and a miss!
Buu throws a right and a left that Lion avoids nicely.
Lion is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Buu scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters circling - Buu throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Buu sets himself, and Lion steps forward looking for the clinch! Buu avoids it this time.
Lion takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kid Buu dominated that round.

Buu displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lion.
Buu swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Buu connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lion's hands.

Lion throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Buu was covering up waiting for the punch and Lion finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Buu is pulling down on Lion's head. It's preventing any offense from Lion, at least for the moment.

Buu moves out of range of the strikes.
Buu throws a looping overhand right but Lion ducks down to avoid it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Lion takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

and Lion decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Buu's guard.

Lion is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Buu is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
