Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Robert Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramadan Qadirov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Qadirov comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Molotov 4 kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Power scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Power wants to get back to his feet.

Power is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Qadirov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Power. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Power is working for a kimura but Qadirov is defending it quite comfortably.
Power wants to control but Qadirov is keeping him busy.
Power throwing shots but Qadirov is blocking nicely.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
A jab from Qadirov misses.
Qadirov is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Power steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Qadirov. That one must have hurt.
Power shoots in but Qadirov avoids the takedown attempt easily.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Qadirov.
Power is breathing heavily.
Qadirov fails with an attempt to clinch.
Power gets cracked there but stands up to it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Qadirov tries to clinch there but Power circles away.

Power closes this distance looking for a takedown but Qadirov circles away.
Qadirov throws a big shot that misses.
Power moves out of range as Qadirov throws a body kick.
Qadirov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Qadirov lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Power avoids a punch combination nicely.
Oh Power is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Power closes the distance and clinches up with Qadirov, looking for a takedown. Power pushes Qadirov against the cage but Qadirov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robert Power. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Qadirov lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Power is looking to close the distance but Qadirov sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Power crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Power is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
