Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ahmed Babilon Mamed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cream Pie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mamed throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Pie was covering up waiting for the punch and Mamed finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Pie keeping moving, preventing Mamed from controlling successfully.

Pie working for a triangle but Mamed defends it easily.
Mamed looking to sit in guard and control but Pie gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mamed not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Pie tries to free his leg and advance position but Mamed is retaining full guard.

Mamed is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Pie is aware though and is defending well.

Pie sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mamed's guard.

Pie wants to work for an arm triangle but Mamed is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Pie lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Mamed looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Well, if Pie is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Pie trying to mount his opponent but Mamed defends it.
Pie throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Pie is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Pie is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mamed doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Pie.

Pie working for a guillotine from mount but Mamed is in no mood to give up.

Pie wants to finish this one by submission but Mamed is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Pie.

Mamed is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Nordic Top Team that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Mamed is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Pie goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Mamed turns into him and now he's in Pie's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pie utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Pie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mamed gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Pie is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Mamed tries to advance to mount but Pie denies him.

Pie is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Mamed off and has taken his back!

Pie looking to break Mamed's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Mamed remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Pie will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Pie is working for a rear naked choke. Mamed is not defending it well and Pie has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Mamed refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Mamed's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
