Brody tries to score a power double leg takedown but Vaughn sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Brody somewhat.
Vaughn shoots for a takedown but Brody saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Vaughn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brody's waist but Brody gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vaughn off to one side.

Vaughn shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Vaughn showed some decent athleticism there.

Vaughn is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Brody has managed to free his arm - good work.

Vaughn is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Brody to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

Brody has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Vaughn is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Vaughn unloads a knee to the mid-section. Brody lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Brody lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Vaughn counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Brody is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Vaughn moves into the clinch.
Vaughn tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Brody avoids it.

Vaughn jumps guard and drags Brody to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Brody throws an elbow that misses. Vaughn uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Brody's guard. Nice move by Vaughn!

Vaughn wants to get up but he can't break Brody's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

I would just about give that final round to John Brody.
