Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lance Uppercut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sonny Bishop Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uppercut comes into the arena with Mad izm blaring out of the sound system. Bishop Jr comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Desolation of Smaug kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uppercut misses with an uppercut. Bishop Jr saw that one coming.
Bishop Jr changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Bishop Jr takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Uppercut throws a hook but Bishop Jr avoids it easily.
Bishop Jr looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Uppercut!
Uppercut sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Uppercut looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Uppercut moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Uppercut lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Uppercut postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Bishop Jr preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Uppercut throws a big right hand that misses.
Uppercut drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Uppercut seems to have locked his on tight now - Bishop Jr screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Uppercut, as he picks up the win!
