Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kennith Haney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wakoko Wakeke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kennith Haney!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Wakoko Wakeke!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Micheangelo Fripello and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wakeke falls off balance throwing a combination

and Haney moves into the clinch.
Haney really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Wakeke bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wakeke creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Haney sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
You can see the frustration on Haney's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wakeke connects with a leg kick. Haney looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Wakeke dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Haney. That did some damage!

Wakeke feints and as Haney raises his hands in defense, Wakeke changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Haney lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
and Haney counters with a nice uppercut.

Haney tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Haney bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Haney is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Wakeke is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
You can see the frustration on Wakeke's face as Haney controls the position.

Haney thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Haney will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Haney shoots in looking for a takedown but Wakeke manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Haney's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Haney shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wakeke sprawls well. Wakeke wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Haney gets slowly back to his feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kennith Haney.
Well Wakeke has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A less than humble Wakoko Wakeke misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
