Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alf Stewart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Ron Honeybunn and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayes has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hayes there as he acknowledges the shot.

It looks like Michael Hayes has been cut.
Hayes fails with a takedown attempt.
Hayes takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Hayes shoots in but no luck this time.
Stewart swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Stewart closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Stewart wants to stand up but Hayes is controlling the position.
Hayes wants to control but Stewart is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Stewart decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Hayes changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stewart tries to avoid it but Hayes manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stewart to the ground. Stewart escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Hayes is trying to drag Stewart to the mat but Stewart just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Well Stewart has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
