Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Terry Dactyl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Cote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cote comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Slaughterhouse-The One kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Terry Dactyl has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dactyl tries to close the distance and clinch but Cote swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Dactyl connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cote postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Dactyl is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Cote, into his guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Dactyl is looking to take a break and control but Cote is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
