The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Ren Mimura and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gibbs misses with a double jab.
Miranda lunges at Gibbs with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Gibbs's hand.
Miranda cracks Gibbs with a right hand to the side of the head.
Gibbs takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Gibbs looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Miranda showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Gibbs.
Miranda throws out a counter right but Gibbs avoids it with no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Miranda connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Gibbs closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Nice sprawl there from Miranda as Gibbs shoots in.
Miranda cracks Gibbs with a good jab.
Miranda walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Gibbs drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Miranda swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Gibbs's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Miranda!
