Rigano looks to score with a jab to the body but Costner is just out of range.

Costner is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Rigano throws a head kick that Costner semi-blocks.

Rigano waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Costner. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Costner to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Rigano controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Costner is still in real trouble! Can Rigano finish him?
Costner seems to have recovered his senses.

Rigano slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Rigano is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Costner's shoulder. That is not cool.
Costner looks to move to half guard but instead Rigano has passed into mount! Damn!

Rigano has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Rigano moves to the back.
Costner is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Rigano off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

A decent looking cross lands there for Costner.
Costner on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
