The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zangief will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kowalchuck tries to clinch but Zangief is having none of it.
Chimo Kowalchuck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zangief shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kowalchuck defends it nicely.
Kowalchuck wants to clinch up but Zangief keeps it at a distance.
Zangief shoots in and gets a takedown into Kowalchuck's guard.
Zangief has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Kowalchuck to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Zangief is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Kowalchuck pulls down on the head and he's put Zangief to sleep! This one is all over!
