Williams has chosen Juice By Cash out FT. Lil Durk as his entrance music. Demarius Johnson Williams is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jess Banks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Demarius Johnson Williams !
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banks lands a right hook to the body.
Williams pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Williams shoots in for a takedown but Banks shows good takedown defense.

Williams shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Banks really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Banks is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Williams 's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Williams 's back!
Banks is punishing Williams with some ground and pound.

Williams breaks Banks's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Williams cracks Banks with a solid left hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Banks pulls Williams in to control the position.
Banks tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Banks is trying to control the position but Williams postures up.
Williams stops Banks from standing up.
Williams slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Williams drops back looking for a leg! Banks is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Banks manages to kick Williams off! Williams jumps back into Banks's guard.
Williams seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Williams stands up from Banks's guard - Williams perhaps looking for a knockout.
Demarius Johnson Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Banks stuffs the takedown.
Williams misses with a takedown attempt - Banks sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Banks tries to close the distance and clinch up but Williams swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Banks makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Williams fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

and Banks counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Williams tries to bum rush Banks with a series of wild strikes but Banks uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A little feinted left hand from Banks on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Williams pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Banks swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Williams changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Banks tries to avoid it but Williams manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Banks to the ground. Banks escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Williams looks winded!
No luck for Williams with that takedown attempt.

Williams closes this distance looking for a takedown but Banks circles away.
Williams walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Williams is trying hard to land a takedown here. Banks sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Williams keeps the fight on the outside.
Banks tries to clinch up.
Banks tries to close the distance and clinch up but Williams swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Banks sets himself, and Williams steps forward looking for the clinch! Banks avoids it this time.

That was a close round but I would say that Jess Banks will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Banks shoots in for a takedown but Williams shows good takedown defense.

Williams rushes Banks and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Banks is trying to break the clinch but Williams has him pressed against the cage.
Williams is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Banks pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Williams pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Williams rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Banks moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Banks changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Williams shoots in and bounces Banks off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Williams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Banks swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Williams passes Banks's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Banks wants to control but Williams is keeping busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Williams stops Banks from getting back to his feet.
Williams is trying to control. Banks wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Banks is looking to improve his position.
Demarius Johnson Williams has got the better of the ground game so far.
Banks keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Banks is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Williams 's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Williams 's back!

Banks wants to stand and escape but Williams is having none of it.
Williams won't allow Banks to sweep him here.
Banks is working hard here to advance position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Banks wants to control the position but Williams says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Williams looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Williams stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Williams swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Banks moves into the clinch.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Williams as Banks tries to tie him up.

Williams escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A looping hook to the body misses from Williams . Banks does a little dance to reset his feet.
Banks tries to clinch but Williams is having none of it.
Banks leaves Williams with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Banks connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Banks is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Demarius Johnson Williams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!


Williams shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Banks as he avoids it easily.
Williams misses with a takedown
and Banks counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Banks's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Banks duly obliges.
Demarius Johnson Williams is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Williams rushes Banks and presses him up against the cage.

Banks looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Banks is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Williams breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Oooooh!!! Williams has knocked Banks down with a huge combo! Williams steps away and waves a wobbly Banks back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Jess Banks has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Williams dives in for a single leg takedown but Banks sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Oh Banks is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Williams is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Banks is in big trouble! Williams is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Banks. Poor guy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Demarius Johnson Williams !
