Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Alexandre Nascimento (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jax Cold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cold clinches with his opponent.
Cold has Nascimento pressed against the ropes, preventing Nascimento from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Nascimento is trying to stall.

Cold manages to break the clinch.
Cold throws a lazy uppercut
and Nascimento counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Cold bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Nascimento's head.
Cold is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Nascimento is trying to force a seperation but Cold has the dominant position.
Nascimento has had enough of the clinch but Cold keeps him there for the moment.

Cold breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nascimento lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Cold tries a low kick but Nascimento avoids it.

Cold throws out a counter right but Nascimento avoids it with no problem.

Cold darts in and clinches Nascimento up against the ropes.

Nascimento connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of Cold's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat! That's really rocked Cold - is he going to beat the count??? 4,5,6,7,8,9.....10 - he's not made it - this one is all over!
