Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Franco Williams!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bj Becks!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams fails to land with a series of punches.
Becks tries to counter by closing the distance.
A combination from Williams does no damage.
Becks doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Becks has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Becks lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

and Becks counters by clinching up.
Williams really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Becks doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Becks misses with some punches.
Williams is trying to force a seperation but Becks has the dominant position.

Williams ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Becks moves away.
Williams connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Becks momentarily.

Williams displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Becks throws out the jab.

and Becks counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Williams thinking.
Becks closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.


Becks is rocked!

Williams defending well as Becks loads up on a big left hand.
Becks is still on wobbly legs! Can Williams finish him?
Williams weaves into range and cracks Becks right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Becks goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Williams is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Franco Williams!
