Sheehan Jr's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Neon Skies. Kula has chosen Bullet - Bite the Bullet as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kula shoots for a takedown but Sheehan Jr saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Kula closes the distance and clinches up with Sheehan Jr, looking for a takedown. Kula pushes Sheehan Jr against the cage but Sheehan Jr circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Kula fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sheehan Jr avoids it really well and circles away.
Kula tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sheehan Jr defends well and Kula ends up having to push Sheehan Jr into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Kula shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sheehan Jr as he jumps to the side.

Sheehan Jr swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Sheehan Jr lands a left and a right that send Kula crashing to the mat, dazed. Sheehan Jr thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kula uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sheehan Jr.

Kula's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sheehan Jr connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kula scrambles back to his feet.

Sheehan Jr lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Sheehan Jr is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Sheehan Jr drops Kula with a huge uppercut! Kula drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Sheehan Jr is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Justus Sheehan Jr decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
