Sulima comes into the arena with Bogurodzica blaring out of the sound system. Fafnir Amdahl has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Amdahl misses

and Sulima counters with a takedown into side control.
Sulima postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sulima throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Amdahl wants to control but Sulima postures up.
Amdahl is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Sulima is staying active.
Amdahl manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Sulima is refusing to be controlled, as Amdahl sits in half guard.
Amdahl stalling.

Amdahl is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sulima is just riding it out for now. Amdahl eventually gives up the hold.
Sulima knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Amdahl on the ground.
Sulima is looking to improve his position.

Amdahl looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Amdahl is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
